The ultimate half term at Princesshay

From fun new activities for little adventurers to indulgent moments for yourself, our half term bucket list is brimming with exciting experiences to try at Princesshay this February. How many can you tick off?

Get your sugar fix

The perfect sugar rush to jump-start your half term adventures, or the icing on the cake at the end of a jam-packed day. Stock up on your favourite sugar-filled treats at stops like Coffee#1, Costa and Starbucks. Our tip is that the tastiest flapjacks can be found at Hanlees, our new café here at Princesshay.

Enjoy stunning views of Exeter

Our neighbour, Exeter Cathedral, has fascinating behind-the-scenes roof tours. During half term, you can book this special tour for Friday 21st February at 11:15am. There are 150 steps though, so kids and parents must be fit! You’ll be able to see our shopping centre from above, and come here for a well-deserved drink afterwards.

Exeter Cathedral roof tours cost £18.50 for an adult ticket and £8 for a child (8yrs -17yrs accompanied by an adult)

Treat your tastebuds

First up, is, of course, Nando’s. With their special Nandino’s set menu for kids under 10. For the more adventurous eaters, why not take them out for a tasty bowl of mini ramen at wagamama? Or for something truly naughty, you can’t go wrong with a generous serving of crispy buttermilk fried tenders from Slim Chickens, or share a huge deep base Detroit style pizza from our newest dining spot POP Kitchen

Take the fun home

A whole week of non-stop fun? Stop by Build-a-Bear Workshop for activities to keep the fun alive all half term long! Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Smiggle, Claire’s, LUSH and HMV are also stores kids like to flock to, to spend their pocket money (or yours).
