Try our new café
Have you visited our newest café Hanlees yet? Make a date to bring your minis here to eat well – healthy salads, tasty jacket potatoes loaded with slaw or chilli or the best cakes in town. What will you order? There’s an outdoor terrace too, but watch out for those pesky seagulls.

Exeter’s attractions
Our neighbour, Exeter Cathedral, has fascinating behind-the-scenes roof tours – book this special tour. There are 150 steps though, so you must be fit!
The other exciting tour in our city is the Underground Passages (for over 5s). Find the entrance at in between Next and the back of Zara. It’s busy during school holidays, so booking is advised.

Exeter Cathedral roof tours cost £18.50 for an adult ticket and £8 for a child (8yrs -17yrs accompanied by an adult); tickets for the Underground Passages are standard £9, children (5-17) £6
Treat your tastebuds
Want to feed the kids cheaply during the school holidays? Our restaurants have some great kids’ menus. First up, is Nando’s with their Nandinos set menu for just £6.25 (for under 10s). For the more adventurous eaters, wagamama offers big flavours for little foodies costing £7.70 for a katsu combo. The activity packs and crayons are also a nice touch.
