Plant based fans listen up! Nando’s has recently expanded its meat-free menu, and joining The Great Imitator and an array of plant-based sides is the brand new Spiced Chickpea Burger. With a spicy spinach and chickpea patty, loaded with humous, red pepper chutney and red pickled onions in a soft roll, this is one burger you won’t want to miss!
wagamama
Have you tried wagamama’s new Veganuary special yet? Their take on the classic fish and chips supper, the dish contains tempura f-ish, made from soy, rice and pea protein, served with yummy bang bang yaki imo. It’s only available until the end of January, so hurry! If fish and chips isn’t your thing, you’ll find loads of alternatives at wagamama. In fact, following their Plant Pledge campaign, over 50% of the menu is now plant based!
Starbucks
Start your day as you mean to go on with a tasty Beyond Meat® Breakfast Sandwich at Starbucks. Containing tofu egg alternative, relish, melted plant-based cheese and a Beyond Meat® sausage patty in a Vienna roll, it’s 100% vegan, and 100% delicious. While you’re there, why not order a vegan latte to go along with it? Plant-based milks are now available with no extra charge. Hooray!

At YO! restaurants, people on a plant-based or vegan diet are thoroughly spoilt for choice. From hand-rolled sushi and inari taco tofu pockets, to kaiso seaweed salad and, everyone’s favourite, pumpkin katsu curry – they’ve fully embraced plant-power at YO!
Chandos Deli
The ever-changing menu at Chandos always features loads of yummy veggie and vegan choices. New to the menu this month, you can enjoy sweet potato, chickpea and harissa rolls, served with tangy tomato and chilli jam, plus a delicious panko tofu, avocado and chipotle slaw sandwich. Plus, don’t miss the vegan breakfast baps. Packed with vegan sausages, ‘cheese’ and spring onion hash browns – they’re a guaranteed hearty start to the day.
Coal Kitchen
If you’ve recently embarked upon a vegan lifestyle, you might be thinking that pizza is firmly off the menu. Well, we have good news for you! At Coal Kitchen, you can enjoy their freshly stone baked sourdough pizzette, topped with Turkish ezme and soy mince. It’s vegan and totally delicious, too.
Meat59
From the name of the restaurant, you might be thinking that Meat59 is a no-go for vegans. Not so! Take your pick from vegan dirty fries, topped with M69 vegan chilli, vegan cheese and jalapeños, the mighty Born and Bred burger, which features a Beyond Meat® patty, vegan cheese, ketchup, mustard, rocket and pickles or the Smoking Cow with a Beyond Meat® patty, vegan cheese, bourbon glaze, gem, crispy onions and vegan smoky mayo.

Spice up your lunchtime with the new vegan sweet potato and spicy bean wrap at Coffee#1 – it’s crammed with mixed beans, sweet potato, vegan cheese, vegan chipotle mayo, chargrilled red chilli puree and spinach. On the menu, you’ll also find an incredible vegan meatball wrap, vegan raspberry croissant and not one, but three plant-based milk alternatives!

You can’t really beat a bacon bap in the morning, can you? If you’re missing your favourite weekend breakfast pick-me-up, worry not, because at Costa you can enjoy the new Vegan Bac’n Bap paired with a silky vegan flat white. For those with a sweet tooth, you’ll also find an array of vegan treats to tempt you, such as the BOSH! chocolate and pecan slice and Jamaican ginger loaf cake.
