Today is #EarthDay, and the joint owner of Princesshay, The Crown Estate, is committed to #NetZero by 2030. We have a huge task ahead of us, but today is also a day to make your individual pledge to a sustainable future.

We must unite in protecting our planet 💚 Sustainability is a key focus for both Princesshay and Exeter as we set out to meet the city’s #NetZero 2030 goal. Here’s a few examples of what Princesshay has achieved recently:

• Where possible we’ve installed LED lights on timers to ensure they’re turned off overnight.
• Co-Bikes dockless electric bike hub has been installed within Princesshay
• Princesshay is home to five bee hives housing over 300,000 bees in a secret rooftop garden!
• In a typical year, Princesshay will directly recycle over 900,000 kilos of waste ( 87% of all waste generated). The remainder gets turned into refuse derived fuel with nothing being sent to landfill.
