Spring has sprung! And as we welcome the longer, brighter days of a new season, it’s time to also sample the new flavours bursting out of our eateries. From beautiful brunches, to delectable dinners, check out what’s new in our dining spots and indulge in these springtime spreads!

Lloyd’s Lounge

A weekend shopping trip is at its best when it starts with a bang, and Lloyd’s Lounge is the ultimate location for an unbeatable brunch. Their weekend menu hosts a sumptuous array of dishes, from classic Eggs Benedict to Monkfish scampi, and of course a full Farmers Breakfast, with butcher’s sausages, bacon, portobello mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans and toast – the full works indeed. Don’t forget your drink – splash out with a passionfruit Bellini, topped with Prosecco, to really kick off your weekend in style.

Flamenca by Coal Kitchen

Fancy a trip to Spain without the air fare? No problem – step on over to Flamenca by Coal Kitchen for a taste of authentic Spanish cuisine and sample the delights of their seasonal menu. Choose from their wide array of mouthwatering tapas plates, or keep an eye out for their new offering – paella! Freshly made and served in the pan (as it should be), there will be three different varieties to choose from. The seafood paella is a must try – packed with calamari, prawns and mussels or crispy fried baby squid.

If you’d love to discover something new this spring, YO!‘s limited-time menu, inspired by the vibrant world of Japanese Konbini stores, is for you. They have four new additions of street-food style dishes, including a fluffy pizza bun, a marinated char sui pork bun, a Konbini tuna onigiri and a yuzu custard and white chocolate cream puff. Plus, for a limited time this Easter break, kids eat free! Dine-in on weekdays until 12th April and your little ones can enjoy a FREE kiddo bento box.

Wagamama

From lighter zingy salads to warming hotpots –there’s plenty to awaken your palette at wagamama this spring. Switch up your side game with their Prawn Nori Rolls – succulent prawns, freshly pickled Asian slaw and a sticky red chilli and miso sauce, wrapped in nori and drizzled with sriracha mayo. Or try their vegan twist on a Korean street-food – two soya protein ‘corn dogs’ coated in a crunchy noodle crumb, topped with turmeric vegan mayo, sriracha, chilli and coriander cress.

Tuck into a treat for the whole family at Slim Chickens, where, whatever your chicken preference, they’ve got the meal for you. For something green and vibrant, check out their spring spinach wrap – these tasty chicken tenders in a green spinach tortilla with garlic and cheese dip will have you skipping into the weekend. Or if you’re looking to really indulge, sink your teeth into a honey BBQ sandwich meal – succulent chicken with honey bbq sauce, pickles, onions and cheddar Jack cheese, served with fries and Texas toast.

Chandos Deli

Don’t miss the best sarnies in town at Chandos Deli. Keep an eye on their ever changing menu, which also caters for vegan and gluten free diets. If you’re in the mood for cheese, get a load of their their fresh new Three Cheese Banger, with lemon and garlic-dressed tenderstem broccoli, roast chilli aioli and pine nuts, smoked cheddar béchamel, mozzarella and spinach. It’s sharing pizzas and mouthwatering BBQ galore at POP Kitchen! Sink your teeth into their new 20 hour pork ribs, with POP hot honey and Korean ketchup, or, if you haven’t sampled the delights of the deep and airy Detroit-style pizza (or DSP), try their ‘I can bull’ – loaded with 18 hour beef rib, mozzarella, rich tomato sauce, wasabi mayo and fresh rocket. Or, for cheese-loving veggies, try the Oggy Oggy – molten Ogleshield, mozzarella and POP pickled red onions, topped with a Parmy herb finish? Yes please!
