Giving Hub with Exeter Homelessness Partnership

This Christmas we’ve teamed up with Exeter Homelessness Partnership to launch a donation hub in Princesshay as part of our Christmas 2020 charitable initiatives. Because this year more than ever, we want to help others in our community and share what we can spare!

The Giving Hub will be located on Roman Walk and will be collecting the following specific items to support people who are homeless or vulnerably housed this Christmas. There will also be a ‘tap to give’ station within the shop window allowing visitors to easily give a £3 donation using contactless payment.

The Giving Hub will operate Thursday – Saturday from the 3rd December through to the 16th January.

Please note the Giving Hub will be closed on the 24th, 25th, 26th December and the 31st December 2020 – 2nd January 2021.

What is Exeter Homelessness Partnership (EHP)?

EHP is a project, funded by Comic Relief, with the ambitious vision of ending homelessness in Exeter. Homelessness takes many forms including rough sleeping, sofa surfing and temporary housing. EHP is bringing people together, including people with experience of homelessness, to explore how we can all make a difference.

Opportunities will also be available for members of the community and businesses to get involved with the wider Exeter Homelessness Partnership project.

The following organisations are partners of EHP:

Exeter Community Initiatives, Colab Exeter, Julian House, St Petrocs, BCHA and Exeter City Council.

What does home mean to you?

The EHP team are creating a video/collage/poster that explores what home means to different people. Please visit their online survey and in a few words or phrases please tell them what home means to you.
