Mother’s Day dining at Princesshay
This Mother’s Day, why not make a date with Mum at one of our incredible restaurants and cafes? No matter what her favourite type of food is, we’ve got the perfect dish!
Bubbles with brunch?
Lloyd’s Lounge is the perfect venue for any celebration. With an incredible seasonal menu, a warm welcome and service that is second to none, you can be sure that Mum will receive star treatment on her special day. On Sundays there’s a yummy brunch menu served from 9am-3pm, but why not make it a real event by adding a bottle of bubbles to your meal?
Sensational Sunday lunch
You might think of Luciano’s as a contemporary Italian restaurant, but did you know that they also offer an incredible Sunday roast? A break from their usual fare, on Sundays from 12-8pm you’ll find sirloin of Scottish beef on the menu, along with Wiltshire pork and roast chicken, served with Yorkshire puddings, roasties and a lovingly prepared selection of veg. It’s the perfect way to show mum that you care!
Coffee & cake
It wouldn’t be a celebration without a slice of cake, so while you’re out shopping with Mum, why not make an afternoon stop-off at Coffee#1 to try out their latest selection of sweet treats? Take your pick from a vegan lemon, blueberry and almond Bakewell, a rhubarb and custard slice, apricot flapjack or sticky toffee cake. Oh, and their coffee’s pretty great, too!
Say thankYO! with sushi
This Mother’s Day, YO! are celebrating the mothers, the lovers and the caregivers with a special set menu. For just £25, you can take your pick from one of four incredible hand-picked platters of YO!’s signature sushi and enjoy alongside salted edamame and crispy gyoza, with yummy chocolate and hazelnut ice cream mochi to finish. There’s a vegan option for those on a plant-based diet, plus a FREE glass of Prosecco on the big day itself!
Fresh and fruity
Now that the weather’s perking up a bit, salads are back on the menu. But, that doesn’t mean that they can’t also be an indulgent treat! At Coal Kitchen you’ll find steak salads, zingy Asian noodles, a classic Greek, and more. And if that still sounds a little too saintly for Mum, just add a fruity cocktail to her order! There’s also a kids menu for little ones, with four courses and a drink for only £5.
If Mum’s a burger fan, get yourself down to Meat59 this Mother’s Day to try out one of their delicious new specials. There’s a spicy Cajun chicken burger with roasted peppers and mustard mayo, plus naughty and nice blue cheese & bacon fries and a temptingly sweet toffee crisp milkshake. Wowzers!
Mama Biru at waga
We can’t think of a better name (or beer) for Mum than the fruity and refreshing Mama Biru from Camden at wagamama. With juicy peach purée, dry-hopped with amarillo and huell melon hops, it’s the ideal partner for Asian food and a great palate cleanser, too. Make sure you add one (or two) to your order when you dine at wagamama this Mother’s Day.
Always a favourite for family dining, at Nando’s everyone can get exactly what they want. There’s an incredible Nandinos menu for children, several plant-based and health-conscious options, plus the classic whole chicken platter for those who just want to get tucked in.
